John Lackey recorded a strong outing once again for the Red Sox, but the Astros came out on top in the first game of the series that proved to be a pitcher’s duel.

Lackey allowed only two runs on eight hits while striking out 10 over six innings, but the Sox couldn’t figure out Houston’s rookie starter, Brett Oberholtzer and failed to put any runs on the board for their right-hander.

Check out what Lackey had to say about his start in the above video.
