The Red Sox’ latest game spanned across two months, as their 15-inning win over the Mariners began on July 31 (Wednesday night) and did not conclude until the wee hours of Aug. 1.

Seattle nearly took the lead in the top of the 15th, but a sliding grab by Jonny Gomes kept the M’s off the scoreboard, allowing Stephen Drew to win it for the Sox with a walk-off single in the bottom of the frame.
