Red Sox May Be in Familiar Situation With Xander Bogaerts, Will Middlebrooks (Video)

The Red Sox finally called up shortstop Xander Bogaerts to make his big league debut.

The infielder batted .297 with 15 home runs and 67 RBIs through 116 games with Double-A Portland and Triple-A Pawtucket. The young star will meet the team in San Francisco for this week’s series against the Giants, and he could be joining the Sox at a perfect time.

NESN Nation’s Alison Smith breaks it down in the video above.
