Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick to Appear on Twin Covers of September GQ (Photo)

This time, Colin Kaepernick will probably be more conscious of what he’s wearing.

This Fourth of July, the San Francisco quarterback drew the ire of 49ers fans when he was photographed wearing a Miami Dolphins cap. Kaepernick corrected the fashion faux pas by posting a photo of him in a 49ers cap to Instagram days later, but the damage was done.

Despite Kaepernick’s questionable wears, he’s now set to appear on the cover of a magazine known for its trendiness.

Kaepernick and Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will appear on twin covers for the September issue of GQ. The issue will preview the 2013 NFL season.
