The Red Sox wanted an offensive spark at the hot corner, and they got it in Will Middlebrooks on Saturday night.

The newly recalled third baseman went 2-for-4 on the night, contributing two RBIs and scoring two runs. Middlebrooks provided the boost at the plate that Brock Holt and Brandon Snyder had failed to provide, but he admitted to feeling some pressure coming into the game against Kansas City.
