Orlando Television Station Apologizes to Viewers for Having to Show Jaguars-Raiders Game (Photos)

While the Manning brothers duked it out in the NFL’s most exciting game of the afternoon, residents of Orlando, Fla., were being subjected to arguably the most boring game of the day.

Because of the NFL’s rules about secondary television markets, Orlando was stuck watching the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Oakland Raiders. The Jags can go ahead and throw any home-state pride they thought they had out the window, as even the local CBS affiliate airing the game understands that it is absurd.

WKMG-TV issued an on-screen apology to all those that would rather be watching the Giants-Broncos game, saying they were “sorry for any inconvenience”.

Check out a photo of the small number of people being forced to watch the lowly Jaguars, who scored an NFL-low two points in Week 1, and a screenshot of the scrolled message that the station issued, below.
