The last trace of Doc Rivers has been gone from Boston longer than most people knew.
Almost a month to the day after departing for Los Angeles, Rivers sold his luxury condo at the Four Seasons on Boylston Street, WEEI reports. The 1,801-square-foot domicile sold for $3 million on July 26, according to the report, a swift sale after Rivers held his introductory press conference with the Clippers on June 26.
Rivers signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Clippers after an on-again, off-again series of negotiations between the Celtics and Clippers. It looked like the deal was dead several times before the Celtics agreed to release Rivers from the final three years of his contract in exchange for a Clippers first-round pick.
