The Bruins played a hard-fought game against a team they were matched evenly against, but the B’s couldn’t come up with the win.

The Colorado Avalance moved to 4-0 on the season as they handed the Bruins their first loss. The Boys from Boston were shut out for the first time in 72 games as they went up against Colorado goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere, and Bruins head coach Claude Julien said that his team’s net-front presence must improve for the next game.
