David OrtizFall is settling in around New England, and it’s only fitting that more October baseball is coming to Fenway Park.

The Red Sox have had some time to rest up since taking care of the Rays on Tuesday night. They’ll welcome the Detroit Tigers, who finally dispatched the A’s on Thursday, to Fenway on Saturday night.

The Sox took to the field Thursday to get some work in, and they were joined by various fans and family members in a more low-key tune-up for the American League Championship Series. Boston is expected to get its rest in and be ready for the Tigers, who will have about 44 hours to get themselves east and be ready to contend for a spot in the World Series.

Take a look at the scene around Fenway on Thursday.
