It will be a battle of the aces tonight in Game 5, with Jon Lester and Adam Wainwright taking the mound in the rematch of Game 1.

Lester came out victorious in the first game of the World Series, tossing 7 2/3 scoreless innings and walking off to a standing ovation from the Fenway Faithful. Before the start of Monday’s game, Lester spoke to the media about what he does differently in the postseason to breed such dominance.

The answer? Nothing. The left-hander said he loves playing on the big stage and he believes his strong regular-season performances carry over, but once he gets the first couple of pitches out of the way in the playoffs, “then it’s just baseball.”
