They don’t call him Beast Mode for nothing.
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch lived up to his nickname yet again Thursday night, demolishing Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett on a run up the middle during the third quarter.
Dockett appeared to have the back wrapped up for no gain, but Lynch powered through the attempted tackle, shoving Dockett with a forearm so hard that the Arizona defender’s helmet popped right off. The play was initially ruled a touchdown, but the ruling was later reversed, with the ball being placed on the 1-yard line.
After looking at the replay, that appears to be a highly questionable call, but it ended up not making any difference. Seattle scored on the next play en route to a 34-22 win over its NFC West rival.
