The Pirates clearly aren’t ready for their magical season to come to an end.
Finding themselves down 2-0 in the third inning of Game 5, left fielder Starling Marte came up with a clutch grab to limit the damage. Cardinals second baseman Matt Carpenter ripped a Gerrit Cole fastball down the left field line, but Marte robbed a sure extra-base hit from Carpenter, diving toward the line to reel in the fly ball.
