Adam McQuaid has been sidelined since Nov. 9 with a lower-body injury, but the B’s could get their defenseman back on Monday when they take on the Penguins.

Pittsburgh will return to the TD Garden for the first time since falling to the B’s in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals as McQuaid became the unlikely hero that night, sniping the game-winning, series-clinching goal.

Although the blueliner should have been on top of the world after lighting the lamp, he admitted that he could only enjoy the goal for a split-second before turning his attention back to doing his job and preserving that one-goal lead.

Check out the above video to hear McQuaid, David Krejci and Brad Marchand break down the game-winner.
