Boston Sports Teams Take Out Full-Page Advertisements Congratulating Red Sox on World Series (Photos)
The Red Sox spent all day Saturday getting congratulated by the city of Boston, and on Sunday the hometown love continued as the local teams showed their support for the World Series champions.
The Bruins, Celtics Patriots and Revolution all took out full-page advertisements in Sunday’s Boston Globe, congratulating the Red Sox on their success throughout the season.
As the B’s commended “our brothers in beard” for the huge win, the Kraft family made a nod to the Boston Strong rallying cry, stating “Sox, beards, and rings … it’s a STRONG look.”
