LeBron James Receives Outlet Pass, Beats Arron Afflalo Before Airballing Layup (Video)

There’s a reason that when something’s easy, we call it a “layup,” but apparently LeBron James didn’t get the memo.

The Miami Heat beat the Orlando Magic on Saturday night 101-99, even after James left two points off the board when he missed a simple layup. During the first quarter, with the Magic up 12-10, James received an outlet pass and dribbled up the court looking to score.

James beat Magic swingman Arron Afflalo for what should have been an easy layup, except that it wasn’t.

Check out the finger roll gone wrong in the video below.

It should be noted that James finished the game with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals.
