Both key pieces of the July 4th blockbuster will be on the ice Tuesday night in Boston.
Tuesday, of course, marks the first time Dallas Stars winger Tyler Seguin lines up opposite his former team, but it will also mark the return of Loui Eriksson to the Bruins lineup.
Eriksson, who was dealt from Dallas to Boston as part of the Seguin trade, has not suited up for a game since suffering a concussion on an illegal hit from Buffalo’s John Scott on Oct. 23. The Swedish winger has missed Boston’s last five games as a result of the injury, but he was a full participant at practice Monday, and head coach Claude Julien said Tuesday afternoon that Eriksson will “definitely” be in the lineup against Dallas.
Julien also announced that defenseman Johnny Boychuk is “likely” to suit up Tuesday night, as well. Boychuk left during the second period of last Thursday’s win over Anaheim after crashing hard into the boards and did play Saturday against the Islanders.

Eriksson has two goals and an assist in eight games in black and gold this season, while Boychuk has contributed three helpers in 12 contests.
