Report: Arian Foster to Miss Remainder of Season With Back Injury, Will Undergo Surgery

The hits just keep on coming for the Houston Texans.

Already relying on undrafted, second-year quarterback Case Keenum, the 2-6 Texans have lost another offensive weapon in Arian Foster. Foster will reportedly miss the rest of the 2013 season, Ian Rapoport reported early Sunday.

Foster is dealing with a lumbar spine issue that will require surgery, and the Texans are expected to place the running back on the injured reserve on Monday.

Foster has rarely looked himself this season — the All-Pro had just three games with 80-plus yards rushing and recorded one touchdown.
