Report: Jeremy Lin Out Two Weeks With Grade 1 Knee Sprain, Contusion

Jeremy Lin started for James Harden on Wednesday night when the Houston Rockets’ offensive centerpiece missed his third straight game with a sore foot. Now Lin is dealing with an injury of his own.

Lin left Wednesday’s game just a few minutes into the first quarter and did not return with what was initially called a right knee bruise. Adam Wexler of Comcast SportsNet Houston now reports that Lin has a Grade 1 sprain and knee contusion, and he’ll be sidelined for at least two weeks.

The Rockets haven’t had a drop-off offensively despite soldiering through some injuries. Lin is averaging 15.3 points and 4.5 assists a game.
