Torey Krug has been one of the Bruins’ best players this season, and the offensive production he’s provided the team has been an important part of its success over the first month of the year.

The rookie defenseman scored his sixth goal of the season during the third period of Thursday night’s victory over the Panthers, which ties him with Senators star Erik Karlsson for the league lead in goals among defensemen. Krug is also one goal behind Milan Lucic for the team lead, and his nine points ranks him fifth among all rookies in scoring.
