Zdeno Chara’s Net Presence, Torey Krug’s Ability to Read the Ice Leads to Power-Play Goal (Video)

The Bruins’ first power play Saturday night was a successful one.

David Krejci got things started for the B’s, winning the face-off and passing it back to Torey Krug. With two players attacking Krug, the defenseman was able to find Jarome Iginla who slid down the center of the ice, finding the open slot.

Iginla was able to take the puck behind the net, passing it along to Zdeno Chara who was right there battling multiple Toronto players to put the puck past James Reimer, giving Boston the one-goal lead in the first period.

Check out the above video to see how the Amica Coverage Cam broke down the play.
