Dennis Seidenberg’s Consistency, Play in Postseason Makes Him Incredibly Difficult for Bruins to Replace (Video)

Dennis Seidenberg‘s worth to the Bruins may have flown somewhat under the radar before the veteran defenseman suffered a season-ending injury on Friday, but it’s no secret anymore.

The 32-year-old tore his ACL and MCL during Boston’s game against the Ottawa Senators, and while injuries have continued to ravage the Bruins this season, finding a replacement for Seidenberg will be no easy task. The blue liner has been one of the team’s most consistent defensemen throughout his career, and his contributions come playoff time are unmatched. Logging almost 27 minutes of ice time in the postseason, Seidenberg has been an integral part of the B’s reaching the Stanley Cup Final two out of the past three years.

Check out the above video to hear more about Seidenberg’s unfortunate injury.
