David Krejci’s Quick-Thinking Adjustment Leads To Milan Lucic Goal (Video)

The Boston Bruins have credited their recent scoring explosion to simply moving their feet. But the B’s got their first goal of the game against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night because David Krejci did the opposite.

After the Panthers mishandled the puck in the Bruins’ zone, Jarome Iginla took off with the puck down the ice and left a drop pass for Krejci near the blue line. Krejci was already starting to move to the center of the ice, but he had to quickly stop and retreat to the loose puck.

Krejci won the puck battle and found Iginla in the center of the ice, and Iginla teed up Milan Lucic perfectly to secure the first goal of the game.
