Ronda Rousey kind of has a thing for Russian MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko.
Rousey, who is slated to fight Sara McMann at UFC 170 on Saturday, Feb. 22, in Las Vegas, spoke about her not-so-secretive crush on Emelianenko in a recent interview.
“Do I want to have 57 of his babies? It’s true,” Rousey said. “I think he’s married, though, so I’m not allowed.”
Rousey says Emelianenko was her first “real exposure to MMA,” back when she “didn’t know it was like a real thing.”
“It just blew my mind,” Rousey said when she saw him fight. “I was just like, that is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen in the world. That guy is so cool. He is my image of what MMA is supposed to be.”
“I will always be not-so-secretly in love with Fedor Emelianenko,” she added, as if you couldn’t tell by now.
Despite her infatuation with the retired fighter, she’s yet to meet him — and it sounds like she’d be too afraid to if she ever had the chance.
“If I did [meet him] I would probably turn 19 shades of red and then faint and hope that he never read any of the comments I had about him,” she said.
