After making his NHL debut with the Boston Bruins last season, 21-year-old center Ryan Spooner worked hard in the summer to improve his skills and fitness to earn a more important role on the B’s roster in 2013-14.
The hard work has paid off for the former second-round draft pick, who’s become a valuable part of the Bruins offense in the absence of injured veteran Chris Kelly.
Spooner has tallied 10 points in 20 games for Boston, and the team is 6-2 when he records at least one point. Check out the video above for a look at Spooner’s offseason training.
