Russian president Vladimir Putin loves hockey, but he isn’t the biggest fan of pregame preparations.
The 61-year-old laced up the skates and took the ice with some legendary Russian Olympians at the venue where the hockey gold-medal games will be played in February. While Putin proved he’s has some skill once the game got underway, his biggest struggle of the day came when he tried to put on his helmet during warmups.
Apparently, these professional athletes have been making it look easy all this time because Putin had some serious trouble with the headgear. At least nobody’s ring got stolen in this sports mishap.
