How T.J. Oshie’s Game-Winning Goal For U.S. Sounded On Russian TV (Video)

Team USA forward T.J. Oshie’s game-winning shootout goal Saturday against Russia set off wild celebrations around the U.S.

For the Russians — hosts of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi — the reaction was understandably much more subdued.

Nobody illustrated that better than the Russian telecast’s play-by-play commentator, whose tone dropped from excited to deflated the second Oshie’s shot crossed the goal line.
