David Ross Shows Off Hockey Skills In Slapshot Classic (Video)

David Ross became the first competitor in the Slapshot Classic on Red Sox LIVE from Fort Myers.

The Boston Red Sox catcher was given 10 shots to show off his hockey skills, with different areas of the goal worth different point totals. Although Ross said Sunday marked the first time he’d ever picked up a hockey stick, he looked pretty natural shooting the puck — in sandals.

Ross tallied four points in the competition and gained a whole new respect for hockey players in the process.

Check out Ross’ slapshot attempts in the video above.
