Michael Lombardi, the New England Patriots’ new assistant to the coaching staff, was seen at the NFL Scouting Combine holding a piece of paper that contained a Cleveland Browns logo. This made Browns fans very suspicious.
Lombardi was fired by the Browns earlier in the month after one season as the team’s general manager. He was quickly scooped up by the Patriots, in part to help out with draft preparation.
The piece of paper could have included scouting notes from his days with the Browns — as fans apparently have suspected — or it could be any other piece of NFL-related material. No one knows. But check out the reaction the picture caused.
