Red Sox’s Young Arms Debut Against Boston College, Northeastern (Video)

The Boston Red Sox played a spring training doubleheader Thursday against Boston College and Northeastern.

Newly signed outfielder Grady Sizemore made his Red Sox debut in his first game in more than two years. He played three innings and said he felt good physically after the game, an encouraging sign for a player who’s dealt with several injuries since 2011.

The doubleheader also gave the Red Sox an opportunity to see some of their young pitchers in action. Rubby De La Rosa and Henry Owens were among the talented pitching prospects who threw Wednesday.
