Warren Sapp was so broke two years ago that he had to file for bankruptcy, but apparently theĀ Hall of Fame defensive lineman has enough money behind him to make a big bet with rapper Rick Ross.

Sapp and Ross were together at a club in New York City on Friday night, where they decided to make a pretty hefty friendly wager on Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVIII between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks. The pair threw down $100,000 on the game, according to TMZ, which is no small price for a guy who had to sell his massive shoe collection just to help earn back some money last year.

Ross tweeted out that he and Sapp made a bet on the game early Saturday morning, including a photo of him and the now-NFL Network analyst shaking hands to confirm it. There’s no indication who Ross or Sapp took in the bet, but all things considered, Sapp probably has a little more riding on the outcome than Ross.
