Alex Ovechkin absolutely ripped a one-timer past Tuukka Rask on Saturday afternoon to give the Washington Capitals a 1-0 lead in the first period.

Ovechkin showed why he’s so dangerous on the power play, notching two goals on the man-advantage to propel the Caps past the Bruins 4-2. The winger raised his league-leading total to 43 goals, and he also reached 800 career points on his second tally of the afternoon.
