Baseball Team Unveiling Fan ‘Selfie’ Collage Jersey In 2014 (Photo)

“Selfie” was Oxford Dictionaries’ Word of the Year in 2013, but baseball’s Kalamazoo Growlers of the Northwoods League are honoring social media’s most selfish act this summer.

The Growlers are asking fans to upload selfies to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by April 1, according to MLive.com. The team will then make a selfie collage uniform to be worn during a game against the Wisconsin Woodchucks on Thursday, July 24. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game. 1. Take your selfie!

2. Like the Growlers Facebook page here by clicking the link

3. Find and click “Share Photo”

4. Choose your selfie

5. Tag the Growlers and use the hashtag #SaluteToSelfie

Twitter

1. Take your selfie!

2. Follow the Growlers on Twitter by clicking the link

3. Add a new tweet/photo and select your best selfie, then tag @kzoogrowlers and use the hashtag #SaluteToSelfie

Instagram

1. Follow the Growlers on Instagram by clicking the link

2. Select choose or take photo

3. Take or select your selfie!

4. Select “Tag People,” tag the @kzoogrowlers account and use the hashtag #SaluteToSelfie

5. You can also share your Instagram selfie on Twitter and Facebook as well. Make sure to tag @kzoogrowlers and use the hashtag #SaluteToSelfie
