Torey Krug Ends Goal Drought In Bruins’ Win Over Panthers (Video)

Torey Krug’s first goal since Feb. 1 ended up being the game-winner in the Boston Bruins’ 5-2 victory over the Florida Panthers on Sunday night.

With about 12 minutes left in the third period, Krug jumped into the rush and beat Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo after taking a sweet pass from Bruins winger Brad Marchand.

Krug leads all rookie defensemen with 35 points (13 goals, 22 assists) this season, seven more than Pittsburgh’s Olli Maatta in second place.
