Vincent Lecavalier has been somewhat of a disappointment this season after signing a five-year, $22.5 million contract with the Philadelphia Flyers in the offseason.
The veteran center was the victim of some horrible luck Monday night against the Los Angeles Kings when he shot a puck that hit both goal posts and the crossbar before bouncing back into the crease. The Flyers ended up losing in regulation 3-2, and if Lecavalier had hit this open net, Philly might have gained a crucial point in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
