The verdict is in: Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockman believes Mark Sanchez is “not the guy” for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Stockman, a Philly native, doesn’t see the fans taking too kindly to having Sanchez back up Eagles starting quarterback Nick Foles.
“He’s just going to go into Philly and get cussed out,” Stockman told TMZ Sports. “If anybody knows anything about Philly radio, it’s no-holds-barred. They go in.”
While Boyz II Men might not be the foremost authority on sports, Stockman probably is on to something. Philadelphia has numerous incidents involving their fans’ behavior toward players, including cheering for player injuries and throwing D-cell batteries from the stands.
