Penguins Fan Says He Was Kicked Out Of Game For Pierre McGuire Sign (Photo)

Lifelong Pittsburgh Penguins fan Cy Clark claims he was thrown out of Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers because he was carrying a sign of Pierre McGuire’s face that featured McGuire’s real name, Regis, stamped across the forehead.

The superfan was confused and upset when Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s Dejan Kovacevic spoke with him to learn more about the incident.

Kovacevic also stated that NBC did not have the right to remove Clark from the Penguins’ arena, so the Penguins organization is responsible for kicking him out.

According to some, though, Clark may have left vital details out of his sad story. Two sources told ThePensBlog that the back of Clark’s poster included obscenities, and that he verbally attacked McGuire with inappropriate language during the game.

Either way, Clark takes his life as a Penguins fan very seriously.

Check out the photo below to see Clark holding his sign in disappointment after he was removed from the Consol Energy Center.
