Bud Bash Homers Of The Week: David Ortiz Makes Red Sox History (Video)

David Ortiz felt right at home against his former team this week.

The Boston Red Sox slugger went off in a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins, launching four homers over a two-game span to pass Jim Rice for third on the team’s all-time home run list with 384 jacks in a Red Sox uniform.

Big Papi wasn’t the only one who made history this week, as Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout hit the first walk-off homer of his career on Thursday with a three-run blast against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The rest of this week’s homers include a two-run bomb from Miami Marlins first baseman Garrett Jones and some late-inning heroics from Detroit Tigers star Miguel Cabrera and Chicago White Sox rookie sensation Jose Abreu.

Check out the five Bud Bash Homers of the Week below, presented by the Budweiser Bash Bar located on Yawkey Way.
