Nathan Horton’s lone goal in Game 7 of the 2011 Eastern Conference finals was all the offense the Boston Bruins needed, as they defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 1-0.
Horton’s goal with 7:33 remaining in regulation sent the Black and Gold to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in 21 years. The tally also was Horton’s second Game 7 game-winner in those playoffs, with his first one coming in overtime of Round 1 against the Montreal Canadiens.
