Peyton Manning, David Letterman Take Dig At Bill Belichick (Video)

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning spent his Sunday paying homage to Derek Jeter in his final season. On Monday, he visited another retiring legend, David Letterman.

Manning made his fourth and likely final appearance on “The Late Show,” where he discussed his disdain for the on-field microphones that pick up play calls and made his “Omaha” audible famous during last season’s playoffs.

The Broncos signal-caller devised a humorous plan to sabotage the microphones in order to prevent play calls from being heard by opposing coaches in the future, but Letterman couldn’t resist responding with a Patriots’ “Spygate” jab.

“But, as we know about Bill Belichick, he brings his own microphones, so you don’t have to worry about that,” Letterman quipped.
