Revolution To Host World Cup Watch Party on June 22 At House Of Blues Boston

The House of Blues Boston will be World Cup central one evening in late June.

The New England Revolution will host a 2014 FIFA World Cup watch party for the U.S.-Portugal game on Sunday, June 22 at the House of Blues Boston (15 Lansdowne Street). The World Cup Group G game will be shown on a large screen on the House of Blues stage.

The U.S.-Portugal game will be the second of three group-stage games for the Americans. They’ll go up against a Portugal squad that features FIFA Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo and other talented players.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. ET, and the game kicks off at 6 p.m. The event will be free of charge, but fans are encouraged to arrive early.

The first 200 people to enter the venue will receive a free “For Club and Country” scarf as a gift. There also will be a raffle/silent auction of signed soccer memorabilia, with all proceeds benifinting AmericaSCORES Boston.

Revolution players will be on hand as VIPs.
