NESN 30: Derek Lowe Tosses First No-Hitter At Fenway Park In 37 Years (Video)


On April 27, 2002, Derek Lowe pitched the first no-hitter at Fenway Park in 37 years as the Boston Red Sox routed the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 10-0.

Lowe allowed only one runner to reach base, surrendering a walk to Brent Abernathy to lead off the third inning, during the first complete game of his career. Lowe also struck out six in just his 27th career start.
