Prince FielderFor the sixth consecutive year, ESPN The Magazine will roll out it’s “Body Issue,” which features professional athletes from a range of different sports posing nude in its pages.

The year’s issue has a rather interesting participant.

The magazine released its list of athletes who will appear in the issue on Wednesday, and among the headliners are tennis player Venus Williams, decorated Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch.

A name that might raise some eyebrows, though, is Texas Rangers first baseman Prince Fielder. Yes, the 275-pound, 30-year-old Prince Fielder.

Fielder easily is the biggest surprise among the 22 athletes chosen in the magazine’s “annual celebration of athletic form.” Other notable names on the list include Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka, women’s Olympic snowboarder Jamie Anderson and Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

The list also includes tennis player Tomas Berdych, professional surfer Coco Ho, U.S. soccer player Omar Gonzalez, U.S. women’s hockey player Hilary Knight and X Games star Travis Pastrana.

For those eager to see the hefty Fielder bare it all, the Body Issue hits newsstands July 11.
