Chilean Soccer Player Adds To List Of Terrible Athlete Tattoos (Photos)

Mauricio Pinilla is not the first athlete to get a tattoo, but he might have the most interesting one yet.

The Chilean national soccer team lost in heart-breaking fashion to Brazil in a penalty-kick shootout last week during a Round of 16 matchup of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Before the game headed to the shootout, though, Pinilla nearly won the game for Chile with a shot from the top of the goal box, but his shot rattled off the crossbar.

Days after the game, Pinilla got the play tattooed onto his chest — a pretty different way to cope.

Other athletes might not have a play like that illustrated on their bodies, but some have definitely rocked some awful tattoos. Yes, that includes Mike Tyson’s face tattoo.
