This year’s Boston Bruins development camp is filled with young draft picks, such as 18-year-olds David Pastrnak and Ryan Donato and 17-year-old Anders Bjork.
Not all of this year’s attendees are fresh faces, however, as 21-year-old goaltender Zane Gothberg is returning to Wilmington, Mass., for his fifth development camp.
Gothberg’s “veteran” presence can be useful to young players like Pastrnak, Donato and Bjork as they learn the ropes of life in the NHL.
In the video above, Bruins assistant general manager Don Sweeney talks about the varied levels of experience at this year’s camp and breaks down some of the biggest adjustments that the young players face when they take the ice.
