On April 20, 2012, Fenway Park celebrated its 100th birthday.
Former Boston Red Sox players from different decades — like Carl Yastrzemski, Carlton Fisk, and Pedro Martinez — were honored in a pregame ceremony celebrating a century of baseball at the historic ballpark.
Perhaps the late Red Sox announcer Carl Beane summed up the festivities perfectly when he said, “The one constant through all the years has been baseball, and the one constant in baseball has been Fenway Park.”
Relive the historic ceremony in the video above.
