Even though it isn’t translating into overall success as it did last season, the Boston Red Sox are still the walk-off kings of Major League Baseball.
After their eighth walk-off win of the season Thursday against the Chicago White Sox — which has Boston tied with the New York Mets for the most in baseball — Red Sox rookie Jackie Bradley Jr. expressed what it’s like to be part of those dramatic wins instead of watching them.
“(The rookies) just want to be a part of winning,” Bradley said. “Not necessarily just seeing it, we want to, I guess, live it. A win is a win, and we’ll take them any way we can get them.”
