Fans Fork Over $30 For Redskins-Patriots Practice T-Shirts, Which Sell Out

The Washington Redskins confirmed what most of us already knew — people will buy souvenir T-shirts, no matter how meaningless they might be.

The Redskins took some (deserved) grief when it was announced they would sell shirts to commemorate the team’s joint practices with the New England Patriots ahead of their Aug. 7 preseason matchup.

It appears those in attendance were much less pessimistic about the $30 tees, though, as the Boston Globe’s Ben Volin reported Wednesday that the shirts have sold out.

Clearly, the only way to brag about being at a free practice is with an overpriced shirt.
