Former New England Patriots wide receiver Reche Caldwell and the law have not meshed well in 2014.
Caldwell was arrested for the third time this year on Sunday in Tampa, Fla. This time on charges of possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
In May, the 34-year-old was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, which followed an arrest in January where he was charged with running an illegal gambling operation.
Caldwell spent six seasons in the NFL with the Patriots, Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers. The wideout recorded 152 catches for 1,851 yards and 11 touchdowns before retiring after the 2007 season.
