Rory McIlroy is on top of his game.

He won the 2014 PGA Championship — his fourth career major title — by one stroke in a thrilling final round on Sunday, and also saved the prestigious Wanamaker Trophy.

As PGA Tour president Ted Bishop was handing the Wanamaker Trophy to McIlroy during the post-tournament ceremony, the lid fell off, but the Northern Irishman was quick to react and caught the piece of hardware before it hit the ground.

We’ll have to wait and see what McIlroy puts in the Wanamaker Trophy over the next few days. He had plenty of fun with the Claret Jug after winning the British Open in July.
