Ladies and gentlemen, we present Washington Wizards forward Paul Pierce.
That might sound a little weird to fans who became used to rooting for Pierce as a member of the Boston Celtics for 15 seasons, but it’s a reality — a reality that was hammered home with the first look at Pierce wearing a Wizards uniform.

This will mark Pierce’s third team in three seasons, after spending the 2013-14 campaign with the Brooklyn Nets. Pierce agreed to a two-year, $11-million contract with the Wizards this offseason, and the soon-to-be 37-year-old has not indicated whether this will be his final contract.
By the time the future Hall of Famer calls it quits, Pierce might don quite a few more teams’ uniforms in his NBA career. So, like it or not, you’d better get used to it, Celtics fans.
